Lamar Alum Holton Hill Aims For NFL At Combine This Weekend
'Hollywood' Hill, an all-American at Lamar, decided to skip his senior year to enter the Draft. He checks in to the Combine on Friday.

HOUSTON, TX — Holton "Hollywood" Hill made a name for himself as a Lamar Texan. The defensive back was an all-American for Lamar and hands-down one of the top corner backs coming out of high school. In three years as a Texas Longhorn, he played in 26 career games and made 20 starts.
Last season Hill became just the third player in UT history to return an interception for a touchdown in back-to-back games (Maryland/San Jose State in 2017). He currently ranks second all-time in school history for career interceptions returned for a TD (3) and career non-offensive touchdowns (4).
Now, Hollywood is moving on to the next level.

Hill was a corporate communications major at Texas. The 6-foot-3, 200-pound corner was off to a great junior season before getting suspended after nine games for violating team rules, which was a huge blow to the Longhorns defense.
Hill had two interceptions and 51 tackles as a junior. For his career, Hollywood had four touchdowns as a defensive and special teams player.
His draft status is all over the place, with most projections landing him somewhere in the late rounds (4-7).
