Lamar, Westside Kick Off Football Seasons Thursday Night
High school football finally begins in the Greater Houston area
HOUSTON, TX — The long wait is over for some area high school football teams as they finally kick off the season Thursday night. Hurricane Harvey pushed back the start of school by two weeks, and subsequently the football season followed suit.
The Lamar Texans start the season at home against the Klein Collins Tigers while the Westside Wolves host the George Bush Broncos.
