15 Arrested During Prostitution Sex Sting: Police Said

Undercover deputies arrested 15 men during a sex trafficking sting this week who were soliciting sex and sex acts, police said.

HOUSTON — Investigators arrested 15 during a prostitution sting this week that was aimed at stopping human and sex trafficking in northwest Harris County.

Harris County Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman said his office had received several complaints from residents and business in the area about prostitution in the area.

This past week, constables launched an undercover sting operation in northwest Harris County, and arrested 15 male suspects ranging from their 20's to their 50's.

The men arrested were all charged with prostitution after soliciting sex or sex acts from undercover investigators, Herman said.

This operation coincides with the release of many schools for the summer in our area.

"Precinct 4 has taken a firm stance on identifying and assisting Human Trafficking victims and eradicating prostitution from the neighborhoods and business in our area," Herman said.
