Child Among 3 Dead In Harris County Murder-Suicide: Sheriff
A child is among the three dead in Harris County, the sheriff's office said.
HARRIS COUNTY, TX — Three people, including a child, were found dead Friday in a possible murder-suicide in Harris County, the sheriff's office said.
The Harris County Sheriff's Office said the incident happened in the 20000 block of Inverness Forest Boulevard. Officials responded to the area around 1 p.m. to meet family members conducting a welfare check.
At a briefing, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said the family members had been trying to contact the residents since earlier in the week to no avail. They finally decided to come to the address since they were in the area, Gonzalez said.

The victims were identified as a 36-year-old man, a 37-year-old woman and a 5-year-old child.
"These are always the most horrific scenes when there's a child involved," he said.

Gonzalez said there were no apparent issues that family members knew of and the deaths came as a total surprise.
