1. Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo announced that she tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday night via Twitter. Houston Police Chief Troy Finner also recently announced that he tested positive for COVID-19. (Fox 26)
2. Reverend Dr. Ronald K. Mouton Sr. of the East Bethel Missionary Baptist Church was reportedly shot and killed by another driver as he traveled on the Gulf Freeway at Gould Roadaround 4:19 p.m Friday afternoon. Houston police say the suspected shooter was driving a black sedan. (Click2Houston)
3. A suspect was injured in an officer-involved shooting Sunday in north Houston, police said. At about 7:30 p.m., authorities were on the way to an "officer-involved shooting" in the 4400 block of North Freeway, HPD said in a tweet. (ABC 13)
4. Woodbridge Wines, the Robert Mondavi brand and official wine partner of Major League Baseball, is releasing limited-edition Houston Astros commemorative 1.5 liter bottles of two of its classic wines, the company announced. The wines will be available starting Monday, July 11. (CultureMap Houston)
5. Firefighters with the Houston Fire Department put out a fire in downtown Houston Saturday evening. According to HFD, the fire sparked at around 8 p.m. at the Sacco Company Catholic Store located at 2323 San Jacinto Street near Hadley. (Click2Houston)
