Back-to-School Fair in Pasadena
Pasadena ISD hosting a back-to-school fair in Pasadena Town Square.

PASADENA, ISD — Parents looking to save money on back-to-school shopping, or parents that are trying to minimize the hassle, will be pleased to learn that Pasadena ISD and various community non-profits have teamed up for a back-to-school fair.
The event will be held from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on July 30 at the Pasadena Town Square Mall, 171 Pasadena Town Square.

Throughout the day there will be giveaways of free backpacks and school supplies, with a school age child present.
There also will be low-cost immunizations, parents must have an original shot record for each child. School health records will not be accepted.

A variety of health screenings will also be performed and Precious Academy will also be providing back-to-school haircuts.
There will also be an application station to help parents get their children on state assistance programs, like Medicaid and the Free and Reduced Lunch Program.
To apply for governmental assistance parents need to bring a current paycheck stub/proof of income, each child's birth certificate and Social Security card, as well as a state/government issued identification card.
