CYPRESS, TX — Police arrested a woman Sunday morning after she allegedly left her young children alone while she went to a restaurant to eat, officials said. According to witnesses, Blanca Baltazar apparently became very upset when she was unable to find her three children.

Deputies were called to the 18200 block of Valebluff Lane in Cypress at about 1 a.m. for a disturbance. When they arrived, deputies identified Baltazar and determined she was highly intoxicated. Baltazar said she was unable to find her children who were between the ages of 5- and 7-years-old.

Deputies were able to determine that she'd left her children unattended at her home in Katy while she went to a local food establishment to eat.
