Early Voting Continues After Car Smashes Through County Annex
A car smashing through the wall of a county annex building did little thwart early voting in southeast Houston
HOUSTON — Early voting began today for elections all over the Houston area. However, one early voting location was almost closed after a driver smashed through a wall at the Harris County Clerk annex in southeast Houston.
The crash happened Monday afternoon at the Scarsdale Annex at 10851 Scarsdale Boulevard.
Officials said they didn't think anyone was injured and there wasn’t any information on exactly how this crash occurred, but there was definitely a mess to clean up.
The Harris County Clerks office said initially that they planned to relocate the voting site, but changed course and announced Monday afternoon that the location was fully functional.
