Food Truck Robber Assaults 3 Women Before Fleeing: Police

Three food truck employees were forced to strip by a man who robbed their truck and tried to sexually assault them, police said.

HOUSTON — Houston Police are looking for a man who tried to sexually assault three food truck employees during a robbery. The incident happened at about 11:30 p.m. Saturday in the 5700 block of Fondren, police said.

Witnesses told police that the man climbed into the Taqueria Tariacuri food truck while it was parked at the location and ordered three women inside the truck to take off their clothes, as he stole cash from the register.

Police said he grabbed one of the women by the hair and touched her inappropriately and started taking off his pants. That’s when the women escaped and ran through the backdoor of the food truck.

The man pulled his pants back on and fled the area on foot, the women told police.

Investigators are looking for a black man, between 27 to 32 years old, between 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet tall, and between 150 and 165 pounds with short cropped hair. He was wearing black pants, a blue shirt, a black coat and glasses at the time of the robbery.
