HOUSTON -- Ford has announced a plan to open a new nationwide call center that will bring at least 500 jobs to Houston. The new nationwide call center will be located at 5959 Corporate Drive in southwest Houston and will be geared to helping customers who own Ford trucks, officials announced.

The call center will streamline customer service and pair Ford truck owners with one customer service representative who will work with them to resolve their issue, instead of transferring them to various departments.

Ford said they chose Houston because the city is in the heart of the world’s largest truck market.
Officials said the customer service positions will have a starting minimum salary of $30,000. You can check it out and other customer service positions here.
