Fort Bend ISD Selects Sugar Land Site for New Tech Ed Facility
Fort Bend ISD selected a 65-acre tract in Sugar Land for a new technical education facility.

SUGAR LAND, TX — The Fort Bend Independent School District selected a 65-acre tract of land in the Sugar Land neighborhood of Telfair as the site for its new centralized career and technical education facility.
The building will be located at Chatham Avenue and University Boulevard and will have easy access from State Highway 6, State Highway 90 and U.S. 59/I-69.
The $59 million facility will open in August 2018 and will offer a variety of Science, Technology, Education and Mathematics (STEM) courses including: advanced construction, manufacturing,transportation,information technology, cosmetology, culinary arts, health science as well as law and public safety.
