Group Empties Homeowner's Pool and Uses it as Skateboard Park

Police investigating man's claim that skaters have broken into his property three times

MEYERLAND — If you have a backyard pool, be on notice, because at least one group of skateboarders is looking for places to practice their craft.

A Meyerland man told Houston police officers that a group of adult males had broken into his property three times recently, draining his pool and using it as a skateboard park. He captured the most recent break-in on his cellphone camera, and filmed himself chasing and yelling at the suspects. According to KTRK, a nearby surveillance camera also caught the incident.

The skateboarders "are at least 25 years old and above," the homeowner, who wishes to remain anonymous, told KTRK. "There's nobody who's a high schooler or a teenager."
