Harris County DA Accepts Charges Against Man Involved in Bellaire Officer's Death

The Harris County DA has accepted charges against a man involved in the death of an officer with the Bellaire Police Department.

HOUSTON, TX — The Harris County District Attorney has accepted charges against Dominique Moore for his part in a police chase that killed Marco Zarate, 52, an officer with the Bellaire Police Department.

Moore, 27, is accused of being in the passenger side of an older model green Chevy Malibu while his twin brother Dante was at the wheel during the July 12 chase that took Zarate's life.

Dominique is facing charges for theft, tampering with evidence and evading arrest on foot — which is related to his alleged attempt to flee officers when they arrested him on Thursday.
