Have You Seen Him: Manhunt Underway For Escaped Inmate
Efrain Gutierrez, 38, escaped from the Juvenile Justice Center in downtown and was last seen in a red pickup.

HOUSTON — Police are looking for an inmate who escaped Thursday afternoon from the Harris County Courthouse in downtown Houston.
Efrain Gutierrez, 38, was at the Juvenile Justice Center on a laundry list of charges including theft, drug possession, aggregate theft and evading charges, when he escaped custody shortly after noon.
Officials said post-Hurricane Harvey renovations that are underway in adult court force proceedings to be held in juvenile court.

Gutierrez, who apparently has a penchant for panties, is accused of stealing women's underwear at several retail locations in northeast Houston. Police said Gutierrez has multiple warrants for evading arrest and detention, theft, and driving with a suspended license.
Gutierrez, who has ties to the Humble area, was last seen in a red pickup. Anyone who sees Gutierrez or knows where he is, is asked to call the Harris County Sheriff's Office at 713-221-6000.
