Houston Murder Suspect Sent Grisly Post-Attack Snapchat To Friend

A man accused of killing a woman allegedly sent friend an image of himself covered in blood following the attack, police said.

HOUSTON, TX -- A man who police say sent a gruesome Snapchat photo of himself covered in blood was arrested and charged with his girlfriend’s brutal murder, police said Saturday.

Law enforcement officials said the man, whose identity has not been released, sent a Snapchat to a friend that showed him bathed in blood, with an admission that he’d done something wrong. The recipient of the message told police he tried to contact the man, who was living with his parent's garage in the 900 block of Elton Street, but there was no answer. The suspect's friend added he then tried to call the man’s parents.

Police were called to the home at about 7:45 a.m. Saturday after the parents discovered the body of a young woman on their floor, and their blood-covered son sitting on his bed holding a knife.
