Houston Police Identify Woman Found Dead in a Ditch

Houston Police officers have identified the body of a woman who was found dead in a ditch.

Houston, TX -- HPD has identified the remains of Kumba Mariatu "Marie" Sesay. Her body was found on the morning of Sunday, July 3, in a drainage ditch in Southeast Houston.

Sesay had been beaten and shot in the head. HPD think she was killed elsewhere and that her body was dumped near the intersection of Southwind Street and Jutland Road, across from Jones Future Academy.

Witnesses saw a dark colored sedan stopped in the area around 1:30 a.m. the morning Sesay's body was found. Sesay hosted a show on www.styledigitalradio.org.
