Houston Vice Cops Arrest 69 On Sex Trafficking Charges
From June 1 to July 30, the HPD Vice Division arrested 69 men on sex trafficking charges. On Wednesday, they released the booking photos.

HOUSTON -- The Houston Police Vice Division released the booking photos of 69 men arrested in Houston between June 1 and July 30 on charges related to prostitution and human trafficking. Vice investigators said the men were charged with compelling prostitution or solicitation of prostitution.

The Houston Police and the Harris County Sheriff's Office have been working to raise awareness of human trafficking and sex trafficking crimes in recent years. Officials said that by publishing the booking photos of those who are arrested for sex and human trafficking they hope to send the message that these crimes won't be tolerated in the city or the county.
