HPD Homicide Looking For 3 Robbers Who Gunned Down Store Clerk

Three men who walked into a convenience store and shot the clerk to death after they emptied the cash register are at large, police said.

HOUSTON — Houston Police homicide investigators are looking for three men who gunned down a 59-year-old store clerk during an armed robbery Tuesday morning

Investigators released photos of the men who came into an Exxon convenience store in the 9200 Main Street about 1:05 a.m.

All three men were black males, one wearing a black hoodie with a red "USA" emblem on the front left side of his chest. The other two suspects were armed with pistols and wore black hoodies; one of them was wearing a white skeletal mask.

Police said the three men came into the store wearing hoodies and masks with guns drawn, and demanded money from the clerk. The clerk appeared to comply with the robber’s demands but was shot several times.

The victim, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead at an area hospital.
