HPD Searches For Man Seen Dumping Woman's Body On Road Side
Wilson Rivera-Madrid, 27, is accused of shooting Cindi Fajardo, 32, and leaving her on the side of a road on Feb. 3. She died 4 days later.

HOUSTON — A manhunt is underway for a man accused of fatally shooting a woman on Feb. 3 and leaving her to die on the side of a street. Police are looking for 27-year-old Wilson Rivera-Madrid.
Cindi Fajardo, 32, was found just before 3 a.m. in the 7900 block of Grow Lane. She'd been shot once in the head, police said.
Fajardo was taken to an area hospital, but died four days later from her wound. A witness reported seeing Rivera-Madrid dragging Fajardo from the passenger side of a silver or gray 2010 Toyota Tundra pickup truck, police.

The same witness told police that Rivera-Madrid got in his pickup and drove away, leaving Fajardo on the side of the road.
Police said witnesses saw Fajardo was seen at a night club arguing with Rivera-Madrid, and that the couple left together. A short time later, she was found on the side of the road with a bullet wound to her head.

Rivera-Madrid has been charged with murder for his role in Fajardo's death. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Wilson Rivera-Madrid is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
