Man Accused Of Killing 1, Wounding Ex-Girlfriend In Shooting: PD
The shooting happened early Sunday morning in southeast Houston.

HOUSTON, TX — Police have arrested a man accused of shooting and killing one person and wounding his ex-girlfriend.
The shooting happened in southeast Houston on Sunday. Police said a man and woman were standing in front of the woman's home in the 8100 block of Woodward Street when the woman's ex-boyfriend approached the pair in a car early Sunday morning.
Police said the two men exchanged words and the ex-boyfriend fired shots from inside the car, striking the other man in the chest, arm and shoulder. The woman was also struck in the stomach and wounded, according to cops.

Both victims were taken to the hospital. Garfield Smith, 33, was pronounced dead at Ben Taub General Hospital, police said.
Several hours after the shooting, the suspect identified as Sean Antoni McLean, 29, turned himself in, police said.

McLean is charged with murder and aggravated assault of a family member.
