Montgomery County Father's Day celebrations kick into high gear
Montgomery County offers residents and visitors multiple ways to celebrate Father's Day.
For 2016 Montogmery County is celebrating Father's Day with wine, chocolate and cars. Big events are spread throughout the area so residents are sure to find something close by.
Montgomery
The Lake Conroe/North Houston KOA,19785 State Highway 105 West, is hosting a Father's Day Chocolate Weekend on June 18 and June 19. The event will feature a chocolate slip and slide, chocolate pudding team game and chocolate bar bingo.
There will also be Father's Day crafting, t-shirt tie dying, hay rides, a flashlight Tootsie roll hunt and all you can eat chocolate chip pancakes. For more information call 936-582-1200.

Conroe
Off the Square in Downtown Conroe, 202 North Main St., is hosting the inaugural Father's Day Weekend Car, Truck and Bike Show on June 18. The event is free to the public, the fee to enter a vehicle for judging is $30.
Registration for car, truck and bike judging is open from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. with an awards ceremony at 3 p.m. Cars and trucks will be judged in 24 classes with first and second place prizes being given out for best paint job, best engine and best interior.

Motorcycles will be judged in four classes with first and second place trophies going to best engine and best paint job.
The event also features a cornucopia of give aways and raffle prizes including two sets of Nascar tickets, with all money raised by the raffle going to the Conroe Cruisers Scholarship and Christmas Programs. For more information call: 936-718-0656
Plantersville
The Bernhardt Winery, 9043 County Road 204, will be celebrating Father's Day live musical performance from Voyces at 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 19. Voyces is an Austin, TX-based acoustic/vocal trio that accompanies three-part harmonious singing with soft acoustic guitars. For more information call: 936-894-9829
