One Person Shot in HPD Officer Involved Shooting
An HPD Officer shot a person in Montrose.
HOUSTON, TX — One person was injured in an officer-involved shooting in the Montrose neighborhood of Inner-Loop Houston. The shooting occurred at the intersection of Yoakum Boulevard and W. Alabama Street, on the University of St. Thomas campus.
Early reports indicate that HPD officers responded to a report of an armed individual and shot the person. The suspect was transported to Ben Taub Hospital. The condition is unknown at this time.
