Pasadena ISD Accepting Vendors For New Teacher Fair

PASADENA, TX — As the days of summer speed by school districts are gearing up for the start of academic year, and Pasadena ISD is no exception.

The district has a New Teacher Welcome event scheduled for 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 12. The event will be held in the Pasadena Memorial High School dining hall, 4410 Crenshaw Rd., in Pasadena.

To help new teachers get acclimated to the district, and the city, Pasadena ISD is reaching out to local businesses. The district hopes that various companies will step in and provide the teachers with some freebies.

Previous New Teacher Welcome events have included donations from Whataburger, Chick-fil-A, Peter Piper Pizza and the Gulf Coast Educator's Federal Credit Union.
