HOUSTON — What are your plans this weekend? If you are at a loss for anything to do the weekend before Easter you really don’t have to go too far to find something cheap or free to pass the time, that can be fun too.

Some of the events happening in in communities all over the Houston area include Easter egg hunts, car shows, festivals, and concerts.

The Legendary Art Car Ball at Hermann Park Square| Houston| Friday 7-11 p.m.| This is the next best costumed parade in town next to Mardi Gras. Tickets are $30.

Funfetti Fridays at the Rink at Discovery Green|Friday 7-10 p.m.| Rollerskating under the Houston skyline with family and friends sounds like a blast. Click here for Tickets.

The 3rd Annual Cane Island Car Show| Katy| Saturday 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.| Family fun for all at this free event. There will be face painting, food bounces houses, music, and cars, of course.

Spring Fire Department Easter Egg Hunt| Saturday 10 a.m.| All of the area Spring Fire Stations are inviting the community for an egg-cellent egg hunt inside their station. Come out, have some refreshments and meet some of those who protect and serve their community.

March For Babies at Constellation Field| Sugar Land| The home of the Skeeters will host this March for Dimes fundraiser this Saturday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Harvest Green Farmer’s Market in Richmond| Saturday 8 a.m. - Noon| Free| With a focus on local and sustainable products, Harvest Green Farmer's Market makes high-quality agricultural goods available to the Fort Bend area. Come visit the market to purchase your weekly groceries and enjoy quality local food while your kids play on the adjacent playground and maze.

32nd Annual Houston Art Car Parade| Saturday at 2 p.m.| Feast your eyes on the plethora of artsy cars as they cruise the usually busy streets of H-town near Sam Houston Park.
