Police, Feds Seize Meth, Cocaine During SW Houston Raid: Police

The raid began at about 6:15 a.m. at the Sunset Crossing Apartment Complex on Beechnut near Wilcrest Drive.

HOUSTON — Houston Police and ATF agents raided a southwest Houston apartment Wednesday morning, where they seized guns, cash, methamphetamine, cocaine, ecstasy, and marijuana, officials said.

The raid began at about 6:15 a.m. at the Sunset Crossing Apartment Complex on Beechnut near Wilcrest Drive.

Police detained five people who were inside and a sixth who was injured when he jumped from a second story and tried to flee police.

Police said the investigation was launched after residents at the apartment complex complained of possible criminal activity.

The items were seized and will be tested, officials said.
