Police Release Video Of Fatal Shooting During Armed Robbery
Magdaleno Reyes, 59, was shot to death as he stood on the corner of TC Jester Monday morning, police said.
HOUSTON — Houston police have released surveillance video in the fatal shooting of a man that occurred Monday morning at 7200 T. C. Jester Boulevard.
The victim, Magdaleno Reyes, 59, was shot to death at about 10 a.m. as he stood on the street corner. Police said his wallet and cell phone were stolen.
Houston Police Department Mobility Response Team personnel were patrolling in the area and found Reyes laying on the sidewalk, dead from a gunshot wound.

Police saw a dark gray colored vehicle leaving the scene traveling north on T. C. Jester. The MRT units followed the car, got a license plate number and contacted HPD dispatchers.
The MRT officers returned to the shooting scene and waited for HPD and Houston Fire Department paramedics to arrive.

The suspects dark gray colored car is seen in the upper left-hand corner of the surveillance video, pulling into the intersection. One person is seen getting out of the car from the passenger side and running toward the left at Reyes.
The suspect then is seen running back to the vehicle and getting in the passenger side. The suspects are described only as three males.
One is believed to be either black or Hispanic, in his 20s, about 5-feet-6 inches tall and weighing 140 to 150 pounds.
They fled in a dark gray Toyota Camry with Texas license plates HHT-1888, which was recovered a short time later in the 3900 block of Creekmont Drive. The car had previously been reported stolen, police said.
