Porch Pirate Caught On Video Stealing Package: Police
Ian Mallory, 41, is charged with theft and is accused of stealing a package from the front porch of a home, police said.

SPRING, TEXAS – A man who police said was caught on video in the act of stealing a package left on the front porch of a home in Spring was arrested. Ian Andrew Mallory, 41, was taken to the Harris County Jail and charged with theft after police said he was seen on video surveillance taking a package delivered to a home on Aug. 8.
Deputy constables were called to the home in the 13600 block of Pegasus Road after the homeowner complained that a package delivered and left on the front porch had been stolen. According to police, the homeowner had video surveillance of the theft that he was able to share with investigators.
Deputies were able to identify the man in the video as Mallory, police said. He is in the Harris County Jail with bond set at $2,500.
