Port of Houston Stowaway Convicted
A stowaway found at the Port of Houston was convicted for illegal re-entry.
HOUSTON, TX — Robinson Francisco Gonzalez-Martinez, 40, has pleaded guilty to illegal re-entry after deportation.
On May 8, 2016, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers discovered Gonzalez-Martinez hiding in a ship at the Port of Houston.
Gonzalez-Martinez, a citizen of the Dominican Republic, snuck on to a container ship in the Dominican Republic and was discovered after he jumped off of the vessel upon its arrival in the Port of Houston.
