Small Plane Crashes On Warehouse

A small plane crashed on the rooftop of a southeast Houston ware house on its way to Hobby Airport after suffer engine trouble.

Houston, TX -- A single-engine Piper PA-24 crashed on the roof of a southeast Houston warehouse Sunday night. The plane was traveling from St. Louis to Houston and was on approach to Hobby Airport when it suffered engine trouble.

The pilot made an emergency landing on the roof of a Macy's distribution center in the 2000 block of Ernestine near I-45 South. The pilot, who was the only person in the plane, suffered no injuries.
