Trivago Actor Tim Williams Charged With Drunk Driving In Houston

Trivago actor Tim Williams had jail accommodations this week after he was found asleep behind the wheel of his car in traffic, police said.

HOUSTON — Actor Tim Williams, who is best known for being the quirky pitchman for the Trivago.com travel website, was arrested in Houston for driving while intoxicated, according to Houston Police.

Williams was allegedly found by an HPD officer passed out behind the wheel of his car in the 8800 block of Westheimer Blvd., at about 3:15 p.m. Wednesday.

Police said Williams was in a moving lane of traffic with his foot on the brake. Williams was administered a field sobriety test but failed.

He was taken to the Harris County Jail, where according to court records, Williams was ordered to have a mental health evaluation.

He was later released on a $100 bond and is due back in court next week.
