Since Buzbe’s fundraiser has the general reception scheduled for 5:45 and Trump’s mass rally in The Woodlands is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

It takes about an hour to drive from River Oaks to The Woodlands, without traffic, it’s unclear how the candidate will traverse the 30-35 miles between Buzbe’s home and the hotel with enough time to make sure that the rally kicks off on schedule.

Since the doors for Trump’s rally open at 4 p.m., and supporters have been known to tailgate his past events, it seems unlikely that the crowd will be annoyed if he’s late.

Within hours of the announcement that Trump will be holding a gathering in the Houston-area, something that wasn’t a sure bet as recently as Tuesday, June 14, the opposition began organizing.

Members of New Students for a Democratic Society have a protest/un-permitted march planned to register their resistance to Trump. The protesters are planning to meet 1601 Robbins Drive at 4 p.m. and then march to Buzbe’s house.
