2nd Annual Ride for Mental Health| Saturday 9-11 a.m.|Gallery Furniture North Freeway, 6006 North Freeway, Houston| Hosted by Gallery Furniture and Peace of Mind Foundation, Ride for Mental Health is a motorcycle ride coordinated to raise awareness and funds for mental health. All proceeds garnered will go toward helping those affected by Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) – helping to make a difference, not just for one individual, but for families, therapists and all affected by this illness.

Houston Astronomical Society Star Party| This Saturday, May 11, Join the Houston Astronomical Society (HAS) for a star party in the heart of Space City. Volunteers from HAS will be on-hand at Discovery Green with telescopes to show off the moon, other planets in our solar system, various deep-sky objects and maybe even the International Space Station and the Hubble Space Telescope.

SUNDAY:

Brunch on the Green at the Grove| The Grove hosts Brunch on the Green this Mother's Day, Sunday, May 12 with live music from The Kinder HSPVA. Enjoy savory brunch favorites, a build-your-own breakfast taco bar, meat-carving stations, and house-made pastries and desserts. Specialty cocktails including mimosas, sangria and mojitos are available for $15 with one cent refills. Brunch is $35 per person, $15 for children aged 2-12.

Mother’s Day Celebration at Revival Market| Sunday 10 -4| It's a family fun event that includes brunch, shopping, and other cool events.
