Woman Charged After Unattended Son Struck, Killed By Car: Cops
Police said the child was wandering the parking lot of a Houston apartment complex when he was hit and killed by a car.

HOUSTON, TX — A woman is facing charges of child endangerment after her 1-year-old son was struck and killed by a car as he wandered through the parking lot of a Houston apartment complex, police said.
Police charged Gissel Vazquez, 18, with endangering her child. Her son was walking through the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 6300 block of Tierwester Street on Wednesday afternoon.
The baby was struck and killed by a white Chevrolet Impala, according to cops. The driver of the Impala initially left the scene but later returned and police questioned her.
