Woman Stabbed To Death During Fight With Neighbor: Police

Angelina Gailey, 58, died after a neighbor allegedly stabbed the woman in the chest, police said.

HOUSTON — A dispute between a woman and her upstairs neighbor turned deadly when the woman was stabbed to death in front of her home. The stabbing was reported at about 10:30 Wednesday in the 800 block of Harrisburg Street in east Houston.

When police arrived, officers found 58-year-old Angelina Gailey suffering from several stab wounds in her chest. Gailey was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital, where she later died.

Police said Gailey was involved in an argument with her upstairs neighbor. The neighbor, who met police when they arrived, allegedly admitted to stabbing Gailey.

The man was taken into police custody for questioning but has not been charged, officials said.

The case is under investigation.
