Guac and Roll at the Cinco Cinco 5K, 10K on Sunday, May 4!

Enjoy a fiesta-filled walk or run event, produced by the Houston Running Company, that celebrates Cinco de Mayo with music and festivities.

Houston Running Company (HRC) is thrilled to introduce the next event in its 2025 Houston Holiday Series: the Cinco Cinco 5K, 10K – and Kids and Family 1K! Join the festive fun on Sunday, May 4 as you walk or run the course of your choice and enjoy a post-event celebration hosted by Karbach Brewing Company! This is β€œnacho” average event and will also feature a Cinco de Mayo market and festive drinks in an unforgettable atmosphere. Race proceeds will benefit the HRC Foundation, which promotes health, community and empowerment through events that encourage physical activity while partnering with local nonprofits.

This event welcomes individuals of all different fitness levels, and will begin and end at Karbach Brewing Company, with free parking available at both Karbach and Delmar Stadium. The 5K and 10K events will start at 7:30 a.m., followed by an award ceremony at 9 a.m. The Kids and Family 1K will kick off at 9:30 a.m.

β€œCinco Cinco blends fitness with the vibrant energy of this holiday and the culture that celebrates it,” said Randi Schooley, HRC co-founder. β€œThis event, in addition to the other eight in our Holiday Series held throughout the year, brings people together to encourage community, health, and fitness while supporting great causes.”

The charity beneficiary is HRC Foundation, which was designed to inspire and empower runners and walkers through endurance events that promote physical health, and encourage community and personal growth in an inclusive environment.

Runners can β€œsalsa” to the finish line for top awards, including recognition for the top three overall male and female finishers, top three Masters overall male and female finishers, and first place age group winners. Age group awards will be mailed after the event.

All participants will receive a Cinco Cinco unisex t-shirt, a fiesta medal and a refreshing beverage, included with registration. Kids K participants will receive a t-shirt and a fiesta medal.
