Houston's Top Stolen Vehicles In January
Domestic trucks top the list of most thieved vehicles in the Bayou City. Do you drive any of these reported by Houston PD?

HOUSTON, TX — The Houston Police reported the top stolen vehicles in the month of January, and 2018 started just like 2017 finished — with Chevy trucks at the top of the list — staying ahead of rival Ford trucks.
More than 600 vehicles were reported stolen during the month of January in Houston, with Chevrolet and Ford trucks once again topping the list, accounting for almost 50 percent of the top 10. More Toyota cars were stolen than any other car, but the smaller vehicles have more of a top 10 presence than the past few months.
The following is a listing of the "Top Ten" makes of vehicles reported as stolen to the Houston Police Department during the month of January 2018.

The Silverado is the second-best selling vehicle in the U.S. and is outsold only by Ford's F-Series pickups. Big pickup truck sales rose nearly 6 percent last year to almost 2.4 million, even though total U.S. auto sales dropped 2 percent. One in every seven vehicles sold last year was a full-size pickup.
