Houston Running Company (HRC) is proud to announce the return of the Lucky Charm 5K, 10K and 1K kids/family walk on March 15 at Mo’s Irish Pub in Katy, Texas. Get ready to sham-rock and roll as the luck of the Irish is celebrated in honor of St. Patrick’s Day! This is the second holiday event in HRC’s nine event 2025 Holiday Series. Proceeds will benefit the HRC Foundation, which promotes health, community and empowerment through events that encourage physical activity while partnering with local nonprofits.

The 5K and 10K – both of which begin at 7:30 a.m., on Saturday, March 15, is followed by an awards ceremony at 9:15 a.m. After the ceremony, the 1K kids/family walk will begin at 9:30 a.m. Participants are encouraged to unleash their inner leprechauns and wear green during the event by wearing the holiday-themed t-shirts included with registration. Runners and walkers can also receive additional swag and special offers if they choose to register for five or more of the HRC Holiday series events. A complete list of these events can be found at: houstonrunning.co/series/houston-holiday-series/.

“We’re so excited to welcome walkers and runners of all ages to join us in celebrating St. Patrick’s Day at the Lucky Charm 5K,” said Randi Schooley, HRC co-founder. “Whether you're racing for a personal best or walking with family or friends, it's a great way to come together, have fun, and get your “green on” while supporting events that promote fitness, fun and community through our foundation.”
