Man Dies At Harris County Jail
Bounty hunter had taken individual to facility on Tuesday night; officials investigating.

HOUSTON, TX — Harris County Sheriff's Office officials are investigating the death of an inmate in a Houston jail. The identity of the man, who died on Tuesday night shortly after being dropped off at the facility by a bounty hunter, has not been released.
"We'll review it like any other death in custody," Brandon Wood, the executive director of the Texas Commission on Jail Standards, said, as reported by the Houston Chronicle. Brandon added that officials with the sheriff's office contacted his commission about the death.
The deceased man had suffered a seizure when he was being admitted by officers at the jail, according to Thomas Gilliland, a spokesman with the sheriff's office. He was then transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
