Snow Watch: Houston Schools Not Canceled Or Delayed
Despite 1-3" of snow overnight and some icy roads, HISD classes will not be canceled or delayed in the midst of a winter wonderland

HOUSTON, TX — Houston ISD announced on its website that all schools will open at regular times on Friday and that there are no delays despite a good snow that fell overnight.
A cold front hit the Bayou City this week, and the coldest was Thursday night when snow fell all over the region from College Station to Galveston and all the way into Louisiana. The coast that got battered by Hurricane Harvey just 103 days ago got a much-needed winter wonderland this morning.
