Texas Agriculture Commissioner to BBC: I'm Worried America Will Become a Muslim Country

Sid Miller, passionate Trump supporter, says border wall will keep out "dangerous" people.

Sid Miller, the Texas commissioner of agriculture, is no stranger to controversy. He's tweeted his mind in the past, often in the early hours of the morning, and has had to apologize for one in which he used what many consider to be the single worst expletive of all to refer to Hillary Clinton.

Miller was at it again on Thursday, though this time it was in a one-on-one interview with the BBC's Nick Robinson.

As reported by the Express, Miller told Robinson, “The thing that I worry about when I hold my grandkids on my knee what the future holds for them ... Will we no longer be a republic and become a socialist country?"

The loquacious Trump supporter went on to express his fears: “Will we no longer be a Christian country, will we be a Muslim country?

The 61-year-old Miller was speaking to the BBC about President Trump's moves this week to push forward on his promised wall on the U.S. order with Mexico and halt the entry into the U.S. of people from Muslim countries.
