Watch Ted Cruz Call Democratic Base 'Bat-Crap Crazy'

Ted Cruz is not one to hold his tongue, and Thursday was no exception.

While being interviewed at the Conservative Political Action Conference he engaged in some very colorful language to describe the Democratic base.

"From the left, their base … There's a technical term for their base, " Cruz said.

"Moscow," his interviewer, radio host Mark Levin, replied.

Cruz agreed, then added: "I was going a different direction, which was 'bat-crap crazy.'"
