White blooming plants and foliage will give you lots to enjoy in the moonlight! The small summer blooming tree, angel trumpets – Brugmansia species, bloom with beautiful foot-long trumpet flowers; “Shredded White” is an amazing variety. Blooms are fragrant and pollinated by moths which fly at night. These small trees are semi-tropical, so often die back in the winter, but regrow to about 8-10 feet and look beautiful at the back of a border. Beauty can also be a beast, so keep children and pets away from this toxic plant.
