Atascocita softball collects honors in wake of state title

In the wake of winning their first state title in program history by defeating New Braunfels Canyon, the Atascocita Eagles softball team has continued to rack up the honors since.
These include earning the MVP of the tournament, having numerous players on the All-State tournament team, and getting nationally ranked in some places.
One of the biggest honors the team received in winning the state title was also earning the state tournament’s MVP, which went to Eagles senior Lauren Bazan.
