It was the rematch most lacrosse fans had been waiting for to start the season off with an A plus.
After losing 10-7 in last season’s meeting with the Bulldogs from Magnolia, the Atascocita Eagles were hoping for better results, testing not only their physical skills but also their mental ones.
The test of minds seemed easy at first, as an early goal for the Eagles’ Bryce Washington with an assist from Joel Brusnahan put them up 1-0 over the Bulldogs in the first quarter. Midway through the second quarter, the test seemed to be aced with the score 5-2 in favor of the Eagles and it stood at halftime.
