Celebrate An Old Fashioned Christmas At Jones Park
Climb into a traditional covered wagon and take a photo with St. Nicholas, enjoy Christmas cookies and wassail too.

HOUSTON — Do you want to go back in time for Christmas? How about to the 19th century where Jones Park’s historic 1830s and the Redbud Hill Homestead?
The homestead comes to life on Dec. 1 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m with cookies, wassail, and a ceremonial tree lighting. As daylight fades, travel along an illuminated path through the woods to the decorated homestead. Discover St. Nicholas’s workshop with helper elves and Mrs. Claus.
Climb into a traditional covered wagon and take a photo with St. Nicholas, who will be available from 4:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. From 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., the park will host holiday crafts and time-honored music courtesy of Aldine ISD Honor Choir and Kingwood High School’s Madrigals.

Reserve your meal and complete the festivities with either a hot dog plate or a special pork dinner with all the holiday trimmings.
Reservations required beginning Wednesday, Nov. 14 for Harris County residents and Monday, Nov. 19 for non-Harris County residents.

Event attendance is free, but a $4 hot dog plate and $9 pork dinner can be reserved in advance and paid for at the event. Please note this event will be cash-only.
