City Council Member Dave Martin Hosts CIP & Town Hall Meeting
Council Member Martin will be hosting the meeting to discuss CIP projects and local issues within the community on Feb. 23.

KINGWOOD, TX -- Houston City Council Member Dave Martin will host a capital improvement project (CIP) and town hall meeting on Thursday, Feb. 23,from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Kingwood Community Center, located at 4102 Rustic Woods Drive.
Residents are invited to hear from city and community representatives about ongoing capital improvement projects, local issues and community news related to the Kingwood area of District E.
This spring's CIP Town Hall Meeting will include a special presentation from Mayor Sylvester Turner in addition to presentations from the city's Public Works and Engineering Department as well as the Houston Parks and Recreation Department.

The new Houston Police Department Kingwood Division department head, Capt. Colin Weatherly, will also be providing a presentation introducing himself to District E residents. As part of his presentation he will provide the most recent Kingwood crime statistics as well as crime prevention tips for the Kingwood area.
Additionally, Sallie Alcorn will provide updates to residents on Chief Resiliency Officer Stephen Costello's plans to assist with improving drainage within the City of Houston.

Council Member Martin has also invited Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone (TIRZ) 10 Chairman, Stan Sarman, to present an update on the Kingwood Area Mobility study regarding Northpark and area intersection improvements. We hope that you will join us to learn about the projects in Kingwood.
