City of Humble firefighters recognized with badges

Humble Fire Department Chief Gary Outlaw presented shields and helmets to five firefighters in a formal ceremony on April 6 in the city council chambers.
Honored at the event were Justin Frank, Kyle Jones, Steve O’Connor, Ryan Richards and Josh Whitmire.
According to Scott Blake, department shift commander, the ceremony represents a new tradition for the department. He said, “It’s a way to recognize new team members and welcome them in to the department.
