Based in New Braunfels, Texas, Operation FINALLY HOME was established in 2005 as a nonpartisan/nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. The mission of Operation FINALLY HOME is to provide homes and home modifications to America’s military heroes and the widows of the fallen who have sacrificed so much to defend our freedoms and values.

Operation FINALLY HOME partners with corporate sponsors, builder associations, builders, remodelers, developers, individual contributors, and volunteers to help these Heroes and their families by addressing one of their most pressing needs – a place to call home.

The special dedication ceremony will include comments from honored guests and the Byrne family. Following the ribbon cutting, Michael and his wife, Michelle, will receive the keys and see their completed home for the first time.

The Byrne family was surprised with the news they were receiving a mortgage-free home in The Groves during a special groundbreaking ceremony on June 29.

The community wrote “Notes of Love” on the studs of their home September 26 before they were wrapped in dry wall. The Byrne family will now feel the love of the community each time they walk into their new home.

The Groves is conveniently located to the backyard fun of Lake Houston, the shopping recreation of The Galleria area, the shopping recreation of Kingwood and Atascocita, and is a short drive to George Bush International Airport and business corridors of Generation Park, downtown Houston, The Woodlands, and the Port of Houston.

With unique amenities and year-round entertainment planned by our Lifestyle Director, The Groves offers the kind of life you have been dreaming about, and now you can call it home.
