Disaster recovery in Puerto Rico brings community together

Vicki Brentin of Rotary Club District 5890 watched an entire community transform in Puerto Rico and told the Humble Rotary Club about her experience at their June 13 meeting. When she heard the people of Puerto Rico were without power or clean drinking water after Hurricane Maria, Brentin decided to take action. After writing to three different charity organizations, Brentin heard back from One At A Time, who agreed to help Brentin by supplying Sawyer Water Filters to help purify the water that had filled the streets and turn it into clean drinking water.
