The Humble ISD board of trustees had a full agenda for their Aug. 8 board meeting. Charles Ned from the department of Advanced Academics presented a banner to Humble ISD containing the names of 26 students who achieved the status of College Board National AP scholars. These students took eight or more AP exams measuring achievement in a college-level course, and scored at least a 4 on all exams. Additionally, more than 600 students received one of four AP scholar designations for high achievement on multiple exams. Humble ISD had nearly 3,000 students take AP exams, an increase of 12 percent over the previous academic year. Read full article at OurTribune.com
